I refuse to attend bridal and baby showers just because I was born with the same chromosomal configuration as the honoree. I find the whole "shower" concept to be downright obnoxious, "Here's what I want, and here's where you can buy it for me." Tell ya what, Suzie Creamcheese, get off your ass, get yourself a decent paying job and buy your own crap! You might even burn a few calories in the process.

Also, I don't dress to attract men, I dress to look good for myself; if a guy happens to dig my look in the meantime, so be it. I once knew a man who told me that if I'd grow my hair out, I wouldn't be bad looking. I told him that if he kept his mouth shut, he'd sound smarter.

Lastly, I don't understand the following phrase (which was related to me recently): "I can't hang out with you today. I had a fight with my boyfriend." WTF is that?
