Anna-liza
Well, I didn't know I was one until I read the Heartless Manifesto.
Now my eyes have been opened! (A friend suggested I come here).
I am compassionate to a point. I am probably more patient than most, with
those who deserve it (children, animals, adults under certain circumstances),
but I am finished pretty quickly with the chronic victims of this world. I
believe anyone can become a victim for a moment, but no one should make it a
lifestyle.
I have little tolerance for chronically poor spelling and grammar, sweeping
generalizations, and stereotyping. I feel horribly embarrassed when I commit
these crimes myself. I refuse to buy into the "it's a guy/girl thing" way of
viewing human behavior and will not allow my kids to speak that way. I've had my
share of bad relationships, but refuse to believe all men are shits. I'll give a
person a second chance, but not a third.
I believe in forgiveness, if only for my own mental health, but I also
believe in self-protection. I believe in letting people learn from their
mistakes, until their mistakes might harm me or one of my loved ones. I believe
that, if ass-kicking needs to be done, it should be done quickly and efficiently
and then life should move on. I do not adhere mindlessly to any religion,
political party, or any other rigid belief system.
I'm a Heartless Bitch because I demand the same respect for myself that I
believe I should accord others, unless they do something to lose it.
