I'm a Heartless Bitch because I refuse to allow myself to be confined by the social constraints of a patriarchal society. I believe my self to be intelligent, upfront and honest but to some men and some usually very insecure women, I am threatening and viewed as aggressive. I believe that if you want something, you go after it, simple as that. I also believe that women are not simply baby machines that always have to be ultra feminine just to boost the ego of an insecure male. In this day and age if you don't want to get pregnant, you don't have to. I believe your life is your responsibility and you have to take control of it, all aspects of it so that you will be strong if or when things inevitably go wrong. That way when a relationship goes wrong or you lose out on an opportunity that you should have made the most of, you'll find you CAN move on because, clichéd as it may sound I believe only the strongest survive.
I'm also a Heartless Bitch as I resent the fact that I'm not supposed to be as (or more) sexually experienced than my male partner, as this again is a threat to his fragile ego. I resent the fact that if I enjoy sex without a relationship I must be some sort of nympho. I don't put other women down to make myself feel better and I don't read women's magazines that spout out crap telling us how we're all fine as we are, but then go on to tell us how we can all lose weight, dress better, get a better job, a better man, and then have 10 pages advertising cosmetic surgery in the back. Who decides what is beautiful and what isn't? I personally like to make up my own mind on what I think.
