I was in one of those "we're so in love" relationships that went bad only, it was on his side, not mine.
I mean, we were to the point of "picking out rings" (how many times have you heard this?) when one day
I walked in on him and another girl. Note the use of "girl"!

I have learned the hard way that PEOPLE are fickle creatures and that you and ONLY you can make you happy.
After the "devistation" I packed up my belongings, borrowed money from my folks (of course my Ex basically lived off me)
and moved down to New York City.

I'm making my own way and I've been living life to its fullest, refusing to let any man put me in such a position again.
I am much kinder to people and more understanding of what women in abusive relationships are going through.
Sure I dispise those "perfect bodied" whiners, but there are some women with real self esteem issues - I try to pass along
some of the empowerment I have gained and always say "instead of waiting for someone to bring you roses, You plant your OWN garden"!!!
