I am a Heartless Bitch in the eyes of society, and North American society at large. The fundamental qualities of intelligence, assertiveness and self-respect seem lost on the majority of my peers, who instead preen and simper with the end goal of achieving personal fulfillment by associating themselves with some man. As a general rule, people such as these I hold in mild contempt, and pity in a malicious kind of way, because I've seen their future. I know that most will end their collective youths by getting married, having children, gaining weight that they don't want, and realizing one day that they dislike their husbands and lives, feel unwanted and uncared for, but reasoning that their present lives are just like everyone else's and therefore acceptable.

I am a Heartless Bitch because I know this, and I don't care. Let them rot in the hell of servitude, and let them pander to the men who's fault is in question in this whole mess. While men may not, as a rule, be fundamentally evil and gormless, they are as a race, generally misguided and badly conditioned. Some have taken responsibility for their own actions, their own choices, their own orgasms, but many insist on maintaining an anachronistic and ultimately futile facade of 'settling down' with a nice little girl, establishing a family, and being the breadwinner..
