I used to go through the articles put up at sosuave.com & I’ll admit there were some genuine bits of dating advice out there for men on how to improve confidence & self-esteem, but it’s weird that almost all the articles submitted don’t ever address the idea of “alpha women”. It’s almost as-if the term “alpha” is only applicable to men. What are we?!Aliens from another planet?! How convenient for these idiot pick-up-artists to assume that.

The comic presupposes the fact that the douche will never have the epiphany that he is the one responsible for his own misfortune.

My response to that would be to give a playful smile and say “I think you have negging confused with nagging. Just because you’re eating fruit is no reason to go batty. Hi my name is Dale”
That being said, while I do “neg” and have long before I ever heard the term, it isn’t some special technique, just part of my personality and is meant to be playful and fun. Unfortunately for your stick figure guy it’s a not so fun “neg”.
I looked into all that crap before and while it’s a good lesson in psychology and may help break the Ice in some ways, half of it’s just blatant manipulation. I could see someone trying some of it to get their confidence up but it certainly isn’t an endgame. People eventually figure out they are being manipulated and who wants to be in a long term relationship where you have to constantly keep up on messing with a persons head?
